Terms of Use

Version 1.0 · Last updated: October 5, 2026

Summary

1. Acceptance

These Terms govern the use of the circua.com website and the Circua social network, offered by Circua, headquartered at Cidade de Santiago, 42, Curitiba/PR. By joining the waitlist, creating an account or using Circua, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

Circua is a social network where each post goes to the audience you choose: everyone, one or more circles, or a community. The feed is chronological. There are also communities with forums, reactions, public or private comments, and the option to show content from other networks.

Circua is currently in pre-launch: the website only offers the waitlist. Features described on this page and in promotional materials may change before launch. The service is free; paid features, if any, will have their own terms, disclosed before purchase.

3. Your account

4. Your content

Everything you post remains yours. So that Circua can work, you grant us a free, non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, reproduce and display that content only to the audience you chose and for as long as it remains posted. The license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies that the law requires us to keep or that other people have already shared within the platform's rules.

You represent that you hold the rights to what you post, including photos of other people, and you are responsible for that content.

5. Community rules

Circua stands for freedom of expression. You may disagree, criticize and debate. In return, we ask that you do not post or promote:

6. Moderation, reports and appeals

7. Communities

Whoever creates a community is its owner and may set their own rules, appoint moderators, approve members and remove topics. These rules supplement these Terms and may never contradict them. Communities whose owner has been inactive for a long period may have ownership transferred to an active moderator.

8. Other networks and links

Circua may display content from YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, X and other websites, always with the source identified. That content belongs to its authors and is subject to each platform's terms. When you connect an account from another network, you authorize only the access shown on that network's screen, and you can disconnect whenever you want. Circua is not affiliated with these companies and is not responsible for their content or operation.

9. Ads

Circua may display ads labeled "Sponsored". They are chosen based on context, such as topic and city, and never based on private posts, circles or messages. You can hide ads and see why each one appeared. Dealings with advertisers are their responsibility.

10. Brand and intellectual property

The Circua name, logo, design, code and the platform's text belong to Circua or its licensors. You may not use them without authorization, except to refer to Circua honestly.

11. Liability

We work to keep Circua available and secure, but there may be interruptions due to maintenance, technical failures or reasons beyond our control. To the extent permitted by law, Circua is not liable for content posted by users or for damage caused by third parties, without prejudice to the rights guaranteed by the Código de Defesa do Consumidor (Brazil's Consumer Protection Code) and the obligations set out in the Marco Civil da Internet (Brazil's Internet Civil Framework).

12. Suspension and termination

You can delete your account at any time in your settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms seriously or repeatedly, telling you the reason whenever possible. After deletion, data is subject to the retention periods in the Privacy Policy.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced at least 30 days in advance by e-mail or within Circua. If you keep using the service after that, you accept the new version. If you do not agree, you can close your account.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. The courts of the user's place of residence are chosen to resolve any dispute, in accordance with the Código de Defesa do Consumidor.
